All About Me!

I am a body piercer, principle of the British School of Body Piercing and founder of the British Association of Body Piercers.

I trained with Keith Fakenbridge - founder of the British School of Body Piercing - in Glastonbury in 2015.

In 2017 I completed the Professional Piercers UK qualification in Genital Piercing, this means that I am uniquely skilled in the Essex area at performing intimate piercings for both men and women.

I am also a member of the Tattoo and Piercing Industry Union, the Federation of Small Businesses and CPD

Highly skilled and obsessively hygienic, my studio is an oasis of cool on Rowhedge Business Park just outside of Colchester. As well as precision piercing, I sell high quality body jewellery and some nice smelly things too!

I am always creating and innovating, I have created several unique piercings (the most popular are pixies) and I am always working on new techniques to ensure that piercings are as precise and perfect as they can possibly be.

(Not a lot of people realise that many of the popular piercings around originate in the USA where techniques, regulation and equipment varies from what we have in the UK. This means that some piercings are incredibly tricky or even dangerous to perform without a high level of skill, training and practice.)

I take enormous pride in my work and insist that all piercings are performed safely and with complete perfection.

I use latex free gloves - I do not have any latex in my studio, I use only the highest quality titanium jewellery for initial piercings and I offer extensive aftercare advice and support to every customer, including a luxury aftercare pack with healing balm, instructions for ongoing care and plenty of handy freebies!

Also sweets. Always sweets.

I like to think creatively and have several unique piercings on offer which you can't have anywhere else. Some of these will require you to sign a non-disclosure agreement so that other piercers without sufficient training and expertise try to perform them, some do not since they require custom equipment which I know already makes them impossible for other piercers to perform 😎 <--this is how cool I am in emoji terms.

Consultation appointments are always free, as are changedowns, follow ups or just a chat!

Before I was a body piercer, I was a teacher for 10 years. I have a BA and an MA in Philosophy with a specialism in Philosophical Logic, Philosophy of Language and Philosophy of Religion. Which comes in handy...no really.

I have Asperger's Syndrome, which means that I am extremely good at seeing tiny details but not so good at the small talk. I swear inappropriately and am brutally honest. I don't find body parts rude, and I like a good pun. I occasionally take to speaking in rhyme. But not all the time.

"Psara" is pronounced "Sarah". The P is silent. Like in Psoriasis, only less itchy.
